IF YOU HAD TO BE STUCK IN A LIFT WITH SOMEONE, WHO WOULD IT BE?
Id quite like to be stuck with a little mixture: Frank Sinatra, for the stories, Marvin Gaye for the singing, and Mother Teresa for the praying and the blessing. That would be a party.
WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST FEAR?
Terminal illness, probably cancer. For me or for people around me.
DO YOU HAVE ANY SUPERSTITIONS?
I dont put shoes on the table. I have no idea why, its just something my mum always did. If Im walking toward a ladder, Ill skirt round it - just because Ive got the choice. If Im doing anything in the theatre I wouldnt whistle.
IF YOU COULD ONLY HAVE ONE SONG ON YOUR IPOD, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
Thats a really interesting question because theres too many, but I think Joni Mitchells River is possibly the tune for me.
WHATS THE MOST EXPENSIVE ITEM YOUVE EVER BOUGHT, NOT INCLUDING PROPERTY?
My Alfa Romeo Spider car. Its not particularly Future Friendly, but I do my other small bits and pieces. I havent quite got round to getting a hybrid car but its definitely on my list.
WHATS THE BEST PIECE OF ADVICE YOUVE EVER BEEN GIVEN?
This is a great piece actually. Number one is dont sweat the small stuff, but number two - remember everything is small stuff.
WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU CRIED AND WHY?
I cry quite a lot, but the last time was when we sat down to watch a Liverpool match and they did a lovely tribute to Rhys Jones, the little boy who was murdered. The Liverpool team and supporters had invited Everton to watch it together and they did a minute of clapping and played Z Cars for him. It was the show of unity, and the thought of too many young children dying on our streets made me cry.
WHATS YOUR INDULGENCE?
I like my food - thats quite a big indulgence. Sushi is probably my biggest. Its healthy but it can be slightly expensive. I do love travelling, but I am trying to calm it down slightly.
HOW ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY ARE YOU?
Ive become much more so as Ive been informed by the Future Friendly campaign. We recycle and turn our thermostat down and take showers instead of baths. The main thing we did which I thought would be a nightmare but learned it wasnt was changing our electricity supplier to a wind farm. I feel good about that, but we still have many steps to go. But the smaller steps are the good ones. I cycle a lot more than I used
to - I always think now do I need to take the car?
HOW MANY TEXTS DO YOU SEND IN A DAY?
About five. Theres something good about texting - you can get the message across quickly.
WHAT ITEM COULD YOU NOT LIVE WITHOUT?
Not live without is quite strong, because you can live without everything except water, air and food. As for an item, its sad to say but my phone - just because keeping in touch with loved ones is very high on my list of priorities.
IF YOU COULD CHANGE ONE THING ABOUT YOURSELF, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
Id like to be multilingual and I hate the fact I never learned a language or an instrument.
WHERE ARE YOU GOING ON HOLIDAY?
I havent booked anything for the rest of the year. Im on a no-plans scheme at the moment, so I havent got anything booked - but Im open to suggestions! This year Ive had three shorter holidays so I feel Ive already had my quota.
WHAT WERE YOU DOING THIS TIME YESTERDAY?
I was doing a photo shoot for the Future Friendly awards.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING THIS TIME TOMORROW?
Ill be probably be running quite fast in Soho to get from one meeting to the next!
